Categories of personal data and data subjects are those contained in the datasets and materials provided or specified by the Controller, as further described in the applicable Order or schedule.
4. Processor obligations
- Process personal data only per the Controller's instructions and applicable law.

How licensing works
ModelCore LLC · Last updated 1 October 2026
This page explains, in plain language, how ModelCore LLC ("ModelCore") licenses data. It applies across every type of data we work with: audio and speech, video, images, text and documents, code, reasoning and human-feedback data, robotics and sensor data, and anonymized business operations data such as messaging, documents, CRM records, tickets, and repositories.
It is a summary for orientation. Every license is governed by a written agreement between you and ModelCore LLC, provided with your quote. If anything here differs from your signed agreement, the agreement governs.
What you can license
- Off-the-shelf datasets from our catalogue, in whole or as a targeted slice.
- Custom collections sourced to your specification.
- Enrichment outputs, such as transcripts, labels, captions, and quality scores produced for data you supply.
What a license lets you do
Our standard licenses cover developing, training, fine-tuning, and evaluating machine-learning models, and keeping the model weights you train. Your agreement sets the specifics: permitted use, term, territory, and any field-of-use limits.
Exclusivity
Licenses are non-exclusive by default. Exclusive, time-limited exclusive, and first-look arrangements are available for many datasets and for custom collections, and are scoped deal by deal.
What a license does not allow
- Reselling, redistributing, or sublicensing the data itself, unless your agreement allows it.
- Attempting to re-identify people or companies in de-identified or anonymized data.
- Removing provenance, license, or attribution metadata where it is required.
- Any use that breaks the law or our Acceptable Use Policy.
Provenance and rights
Every delivery comes with a datasheet and records of where the data came from and the rights or consent it was collected under. Business operations data is anonymized before delivery, licensed only with the source company's sign-off, and never resold in raw form.
Delivery
Data is delivered in model-ready formats, typically JSON or JSONL alongside the source media or records, with Parquet or WebDataset on request, to AWS S3, Google Cloud Storage, Azure, or your own storage.
Pricing
Pricing is quoted for each order. It depends on the type of data, volume, enrichment level, and exclusivity. Volume is measured in the unit that fits the data: hours for audio and video, items for images, tokens for text and code, and records or systems for business data.
If you are licensing your data to us
Content owners and companies keep ownership of their data. You license it on defined terms, choose exclusive or non-exclusive deals, and set exclusions before anything moves. Payment terms are set out in your agreement. See content owners and business data.
